The practice reception telephone line 01278 720000 is open from 08:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 18:00.

Prescription line - Please note: From the 1st February 2026 we will no longer accept prescription requests over the phone. All request will need to be submitted via online services or the NHS App.

Should you only be able to telephone please note our prescription line is open:

Monday to Friday 10:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 15:00.

When the Surgery is closed, please telephone NHS 111 (just dial 111). Your needs will be assessed and advice offered.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

• Treat yourself at home
• Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
