Important Notice: Increased Demand and Staff Shortages

Our practice is currently experiencing higher-than-usual demand alongside temporary staff shortages. This may result in longer waiting times for appointments, phone calls to be answered, and administrative processes to be completed.

We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy time of year. Our team is working hard to support all our patients as efficiently and safely as possible.

Thank you for bearing with us.

Important Notice: Prescription Requests

From 1 February 2026, our practice will no longer accept prescription requests over the telephone.

All prescription requests will need to be submitted online using AccurRx or the NHS App.

Using these services helps us process requests more efficiently and safely, and ensures accurate handling of your medications.

If you are not currently registered for online services and need help getting started, please contact the practice and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We’re running a Digital Clinic, here at our practice, to support patients who want help with:

  • Getting online
  • Using a smartphone or tablet
  • Downloading and using the NHS App
  • Ordering prescriptions and viewing health information online.

New: Our online GP request form has been updated

IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE

We Will No Longer Be Using Patient Access

From 1st February 2026, our practice will stop using Patient Access for online services.

Please Use the NHS App Instead

To continue booking appointments, requesting repeat prescriptions, and accessing your health information online, please switch to the NHS App.

The NHS App is free, secure, and easy to use. If you have not yet set it up, we encourage you to download it as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted access to our online services.

Changes to Cervical Screening Results – From September 2025

From September 2025, the way cervical screening results are shared will be changing.

Patients with a negative screening result will receive their result digitally through the NHS App. A notification will appear in the app to let you know your result is ready. If the message is not read within 72 hours, a letter will then be sent by post.

Patients with an abnormal result will continue to receive their result by post as before.

It is important that all patients are aware that, from September 2025, cervical screening results may be delivered via the NHS App.

If you do not yet have the NHS App, you can download it using the links below:

The NHS App is free to use and a secure way to access many of your NHS services, including test results, repeat prescriptions and health advice.
